Seriously, on questions, I realize that there may be kernel and distro people in the audience, and that some of the assumptions herein may not work for them- don't just ask questions, please challenge me when you see that and think what I say doesn't hold true to your project.
Also, I realized yesterday that I used the GNOME slide deck out of habit, but nothing here is specific to people who are insane enough to write a desktop in C or worse C# ;)
