Nasty, proprietary VMware. Turns out I was wrong on that, though; I didn't realize you could run 'traditional' X apps from the terminal. (In this case it is a single-window app anyway, so no loss with Matchbox.)

Still, very suboptimal when compared to launching it from a menu, and it is something I have to do regularly :/

File upload in a web browser was also a showstopper last night, though I understand that is fixed in the next Browse iteration.

Any chance you could enumerate the apps that won't run?

There is heavy consideration being given to changing the window manager, from the current Matchbox implementation to at least a tiling window manager. The goal, as I understand it, is to keep the single-window feel, but provide a decent way to run apps that have not been properly Sugarized.
