Turns out I was wrong on that, though; I didn't realize you could run 'traditional' X apps from the terminal. (In this case it is a single-window app anyway, so no loss with Matchbox.) Still, very suboptimal when compared to launching it from a menu, and it is something I have to do regularly :/ File upload in a web browser was also a showstopper last night, though I understand that is fixed in the next Browse iteration. Nasty, proprietary VMware. Turns out I was wrong on that, though; I didn’t realize you could run ‘traditional’ X apps from the terminal. There is heavy consideration being given to changing the window manager, from the current Matchbox implementation to at least a tiling window manager. The goal, as I understand it, is to keep the single-window feel, but provide a decent way to run apps that have not been properly Sugarized. Any chance you could enumerate the apps that won’t run?
