These particular piggies lived a very well-loved life before I ate one of them, so having met them did not turn me off to being a carnivore at all. But it has definitely made me think more deeply about involvement in the general industrial-agricultural meat complex- I realize most of the pork I eat does not have such a pleasant life before slaughter.
