  2. Well, I agree.

KDE is more beutifull, more practical, better. And KDE API is clean and nice.

I cry when I see so many distros having GNOME as their default desktop.

What’s the point of repeating what some 13 year old kde-fanboy is saying? Yes, it’s fun when people can’t spell, and when they have strong and weird opinions. But I can’t seem to shake of the feeling that it’s just a pointless jab at the KDE community.

I’m a bit saddened by some of your recent posts. While I think that your blog posts generally holds a high standard, they seem to degenerate badly everytime they contain KDE. Rock bottom was definitively the post “choice usually sucks; documenting choice sucks more, though.” on the 25th of May.

Shutting of comments because you don’t agree with what they are saying, and dismissing them with “the comments are even stupider than I thought they would be (except for joe’s) so I’ve turned them off. If you don’t get it by now, you never will.” just left a bad taste in my mouth.

Keep up posting good blog posts (some of them are very interesting), but please be a bit more nuanced and open when discussing KDE.

    Best regards,
    Andreas Lundin

He couldn’t help his bad English. The bad thing is that his claims had no actual arguments behind them.

  5. It was posted 7 years ago. The stetics of KDE and GNOME have changed a lot since then. Does give me flashbacks to the flame wars of yester-version though.
